The ship stops sailing, and Natsu and the others launch a counterattack. Lucy and Gray join forces, and the battle with Diablos intensifies.

Sensing they are at a disadvantage, the enemy leader, Scullion, decides to retreat for the time being. Natsu and his friends then return to Elmina on the remaining boat, but notice something strange happening in the town from the sea. They quickly go ashore and find the buildings half-destroyed and residents fleeing in chaos.

Suddenly, several water pillars rise up in the distance! The destructive power of the water is overwhelming… Could it be the rampage of the Water God Dragon, Merkphobia?
