Although Kurumi-chan gets irritable when she’s hungry, she’s a brave and hungry junior who cares about Koitaro-senpai and the girls!
I saw myself in the character of Walnut, who is unable to express her feelings well due to her frustration and embarrassment from hunger, and I played the role through trial and error.
Whether it’s Walnut eating her food deliciously, or Walnut blushing in front of Koitaro-senpai…all the different versions of Walnut are so cute, and I think you’re all going to fall in love with her ♡ Look forward to it!
It was a tough, highly difficult recording, which is what you’d call tough.
I’m sure that anyone who overcomes this will be able to proudly become a part of the family.
We persevere, thinking of everyone’s efforts up to that point, and when we finally reach a milestone, everyone welcomes us back with smiles on their faces.
It’s such a comfortable, family-like environment that it’s hard to believe I joined halfway through…!
The character Iku will be playing is stoic, straightforward, caring towards his friends, and tough… no, it’s not the time to talk about him yet…!
Please look forward to it!
■Comment from Lynn
When it was decided that I would be playing the role of Misugi Mimimi, I honestly laughed at how impactful the name was.
Additionally, at the time I only knew the title of “100 Kano” and thought it was a romantic comedy, so I was surprised to see such a bold comedy anime… ahem.
I had no idea that it was a love story with many comedic elements. It was so funny and great.
The dubbing had a great atmosphere that you won’t find at other studios, and I enjoyed participating.
As for Mimimi, she is someone who is extremely particular about being “beautiful” and spares no effort in doing so, so I was also conscious of having a beautiful voice and tried to express a beautiful heart that would not be offended by those around me.
I hope you all laugh so hard your stomach hurts. Thank you very much!
■Comment from Takao Kanae I
‘m Takao Kanae, and I’ll be playing the role of Hanagure Aika!
Ai Ai is an extremely shy girl, but she is brave and cute as she tries her best to overcome that shyness.
In particular, Ai’s interactions with Koitaro were filled with her pure and earnest efforts, and I found myself feeling touched while acting.
And above all, she has a lot of passion for her bangs…! (laughs)
During the recording, every single line that all the characters said was so funny that I had a hard time holding back my laughter, I remember!
I have a feeling it’s sure to be full of laughs and heart-pounding, so I can’t wait for everyone to watch the anime and enjoy it!
