The comedy trio “Hanako” will appear in this work, which is in its second year of broadcasting and has entered its “NEXT STAGE”! They play three mafia members: Gnocchi, Trenette, and Cappellini.
We immediately visited the recording site and conducted an interview! Furthermore, one of the members of Hanako, Ryudai Kikuta, is a big fan of the variety show “Fugitive”. He spoke in detail about his thoughts on appearing in the anime.
――This time, you will be appearing in “Fugitive Great Mission”. Do you like anime in the first place?
Dai Okabe (hereinafter referred to as Okabe): Yes. I grew up watching Doraemon'' and Crayon Shin-chan” ever since I was little. Oh, excuse me…I’m on the set of a Fuji TV anime (lol).

–No, no. Sorry for asking such a strange question (lol).
Okabe: So every summer, I was allowed to go see a movie. I still continue to watch One Piece, which I started watching when I was little.
Hiroki Akiyama (hereinafter referred to as Akiyama): I love clay anime. “Nyakki! ” generation, but I like Wallace and Gromit,'' Shaun the Sheep,” and clay anime in general. There’s something about it that appeals to me.
Ryudai Kikuta (hereinafter referred to as Kikuta): I wasn’t that big of an anime fan, but the one that really hooked me was Neon Genesis Evangelion. My older sister watched it when I was in elementary school, and at the time I thought, “It’s kind of a naughty anime.” But when I became a high school student, I rented the videotape and watched it again, and it turned out to be really interesting. I was hooked.
–If you look back at it after you’ve grown older, your impressions may change.
Kikuta: That’s right. I wanted to keep it with me forever, so I bought the DVD as well (lol). I also like Puella Magi Madoka Magica (hereinafter referred to as Madoka Magica) and Code Geass.
–You said you don’t watch much anime, but do you watch a lot? (lol)
Kikuta: I have a friend who loves anime, and he always recommends me to watch it. What’s more, I didn’t watch Madoka Magica until I was told everything about it, not even spoilers.
–That’s… a bad friend (lol).
Kikuta: No, it was still really interesting. I’m the kind of person who can watch without worrying about spoilers.
Okabe: When I was a university student, I watched a lot of Noitamina. This was around the time that “Anohana (We still don’t know the name of the flower we saw that day.)” was being broadcast.
Isn’t the Noitamina slot broadcasting time quite late? But I found it so interesting that I watched it every week, and ended up oversleeping the next day at university. The day after “Anohana,” I attended classes starting from the second period.

–Do you have any experience doing dubbing for anime?
Akiyama: I’ve worked as a voice actor before for program planning, but this is the first time I’ve worked as a proper voice actor like this.
Okabe: That’s right. At that time, I felt like I was just saying a few lines.
Kikuta: I wasn’t participating, so this is my first challenge as a voice actor.
Akiyama: So, this is the first time I’ve been given the name of a character in Hanako and acted as a voice actor.

Akiyama: The gnocchi'' I am in charge of is a member of the mafia. He's a troublemaker even within the mafia, and he's a character that people around him will probably be troubled by. He's a character who does a lot of clumsiness and is lacking in some aspects, so I played him while keeping in mind his "boyishness." I play my role in a way that makes everyone who watches it think, He’s a character you can’t hate.”
岡部：僕が演じる「トレネッテ」は、マイペースなマフィアです。とにかくよく食べているキャラで、つねにモグモグしています。3人で食事をしているシーンでも、僕だけ多めに咀嚼音の収録をしています。まだ完成版を見ていませんが、いろんなところで使っていただけるのかもしれません（笑）。
菊田：僕はマフィアのリーダー格の「カッペリーニ」を担当しました。リーダーではありますが、どこか抜けたところがあるキャラクターです。
――ということは、みなさん抜けているキャラクター？
菊田：そうなんですよ（笑）。
秋山：腕利きのマフィアではありませんね。
――ストーリーにはどのように関わってきますか？ ネタバレにならない程度にお願いします。
岡部：どこまでしゃべっていいのかな？ 何を言ってもネタバレになっちゃいそうな（笑）。
秋山：えっと……「追いかける」かな？
菊田：うん。「追いかけ続ける」って感じかな。追いかけながら、アメリカ大陸を横断しますね。
――難しい質問に答えていただきありがとうございました（笑）。では、キャラクターとご自身が似ているところは？
岡部：キャラクターのフォルムは、僕たち3人にそっくりです。
菊田：フォルムは完璧ですね！
秋山：でもキャラの性格は違うので、演じていて新鮮でした。
