Voice actor Fumiya Imai, who made his voice acting debut in 2018 and is known for his roles in “Given” (as Kashima Shuu) and “Project Sekai Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku” (as Shinonome Akito), will release his first photo book on Monday, September 30th. It can be preordered at bookstores and online bookstores nationwide.

This work is not a classic refreshing and bright situation, but rather pursues “Imai Fumiya-ness” thoroughly. It is a dramatic book that makes you feel like you are watching an omnibus movie in which Imai plays various characters, such as a shot of wandering around Shinjuku Golden Gai full of atmosphere, an emotional shot taken at the long-established live music venue Shinjuku LOFT, and a moody shot taken at a hotel in Roppongi.

Also, the stylish visuals unique to this photo book are a must-see, including a dressy look of a white suit and pearls that highlights her blonde hair, and an alluring look of a vivid colored suit.

It’s been a little over six years since I started working as a voice actor.

To be honest, when I was approached about a photobook as a newcomer, my first reaction was, “Isn’t it too early?” I’m not used to having my picture taken, and I’m not confident in my appearance, so the idea of turning it down crossed my mind.

However!? You only live once!? I’m the type of person who often regrets not doing something, so I’ll just try it out and think about it later. I accepted this offer with such a vague feeling, but… once I started, my obsessions started to emerge. (laughs)

I was particular about showing not only the image of myself as a “voice actor” that I have experienced up until now, but also new expressions and my own personality. This is a photo book that was taken after a lot of discussion with the staff. I hope you will enjoy it.
