The synopsis, preview cuts, and trailer for episode 2, “Living on Hinoe Island,” of “Asakusa Sakunahime” have been released!The unique Japanese-style action RPG game “Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin,” with the catchphrase “Rice is power!”, combines exhilarating combo action in which you fight the demons that rule the island of Hinoe with simulation elements that deeply recreate traditional Japanese rice cultivation, has been adapted into a TV anime. It has been airing on TV Tokyo since July 2024.

After somehow managing to reach the island amidst the raging seas, Sakuna and her friends head for the pass where her mother Toyohana used to live. Along the way, they encounter demons, but Sakuna easily repels them. Then Ashigumo, who has a deep connection to both Sakuna’s parents, appears and guides Sakuna and her friends to the pass.

Although they managed to find a place to live, Sakuna and her friends were now forced to gather food. Meanwhile, Taemon was removing rice husks.
