This time, “Silent Witch” will be made into an anime.

I have a wide range of emotions, including joy as the illustrator for the original book and joy as a Silent Witch fan.
When it was decided that the series would be made into an anime, I remembered a lot of things, such as when I was designing the characters and drawing the cover illustrations.
At the same time, I was deeply moved and excited to think that we would soon be able to see Monica and her friends’ story in the anime.
Once again, I would like to express my gratitude to Iku-sensei who created Silent Witch, to everyone involved in the book and comic versions, to everyone involved in the anime production, and to all the fans of Silent Witch.

I’m really looking forward to seeing how the frightened Monica, the trembling Monica, and the hardworking Monica will be portrayed in the anime, as well as the changes in Monica and the expressions of the characters around her, who grow little by little as the story progresses.
Being an anime means there will also be an opening and an ending… With each new medium, from the web version to the printed book, comic book adaptation, and audiobook, there are new discoveries and fun to be had. Will the world of Silent Witch continue to expand…? As a fan, I can’t contain my excitement at the thought.
