“I’m a nobleman destined for ruin, but I was bored so I tried to master magic” is a “free and easy magical fantasy by the strongest nobleman” based on a novel by Miki Nazuna, which was originally published by “TO Books” and has been adapted into a comic and a spin-off manga. The protagonist, who

had suddenly found himself possessed by the body of Liam, the fifth son of a noble family, spent his days practicing the magic he had always longed for, but he not only mastered elemental magic, but also summoned spirits and obtained powerful familiars, mastering even the most difficult magic. In this way, he became an adventurer aiming to become independent from his family home, which was destined for ruin, and before he knew it, he had risen to become one of the world’s leading magicians.

The broadcast start date has been decided as January 2025. It has also been announced that it will be available for streaming on U-NEXT and Animehodai. The appearance of four main cast members, Ayumu Murase, Tomokazu Sugita, Haruka Tomatsu, and Saori Hayami, was also announced.

Murase will play the protagonist Liam, the fifth son of the Hamilton Earl family, an aristocratic family on the brink of ruin, while Sugita will play Ladon, the demon dragon that resides in Liam’s body in exchange for lending him his power. Of Liam’s companions, Tomatsu will play the bright and lively Asuna, while Hayami will play the knowledgeable and thoughtful veteran Jodie.
