“This is the story of someone who died to make our wishes come true.
Goro, a first-year high school student at a private high school in Tokyo, has no “hopes,” “dreams,” or “ambitions.”
The world was “indifferent” to him, and he spent his days in the same boring, unchanging way with his best friend Akitsu, while harboring a faint admiration for Honoka, a classmate at the same school.
One day, Goro receives a strange notification on his smartphone.
“You have been chosen. Please make a wish.”
Goro, thinking it was malicious spam, tweeted, “I want to do something naughty with Honoka, the girl I admire.”
The next day, he and Honoka suddenly become close…
“Congratulations on your wish coming true!”
Suddenly, a mysterious girl named Lal appears and tells them of their cruel fate.
Goro is chosen by the “Great Will” to participate in the “Kamierabi,” a killing spree against other god candidates until only one remains, in order to have his wish granted.
Goro is given the ability known as the “Fool’s Scripture,” which allows him to twist the world’s causality and manipulate the laws of this world at will.
As Goro fights in various battles, he gradually loses his five senses as a price for his abilities, and at the expense of the “misfortune” that befalls him…!
