[Oshi no Ko] is a TV anime based on the manga of the same name, which has sold over 16.5 million copies and was produced by a luxurious collaboration between Akasaka Aka of “Kaguya-sama: Love is War” and Yokoyari Mengo of “Scum’s Wish”. The novel setting of

Goro, an obstetrician-gynecologist working in a regional city, one day being reincarnated as Aqua, the child of his “favorite idol” Hoshino Ai, and the work, which depicts the reality of the entertainment world from a completely new perspective, caused an instant boom when the first season of the TV anime was broadcast from April to June 2023.

The second season of the TV anime series will begin airing on July 3. It will depict what happens to Aqua, Kana Arima, and Akane Kurokawa, who have been confirmed to appear in the 2.5-dimensional stage play “Tokyo Blade” in the series.

The “Ai -Aqua & Ruby-” figure that will be released this time is a set of Ai, dressed in a vivid costume and dancing with sparkling eyes, full of dynamism, and Aqua and Ruby, who are doing otagei next to her with penlights in hand. Each of their distinctive eyes has been carefully recreated.

It is reminiscent of the Otagei scene performed by Aqua and Ruby in the first episode of the first season of the anime, “Mother and Children.”
