The TV anime “Weird’s Salad Bowl” is an unparalleled ensemble comedy from the duo of Hirasaka Yomi and Kantoku, released in this era. While tailing someone, the poor detective Kaburaya Sosuke meets Sara, a princess from another world who uses magic. And Livia, a female knight who has been pursuing Sara. The two spend their days together in a way that goes beyond their expectations.

Livia gives Sarah a figure of herself as a gift, but as expected, it is treated as a special-grade cursed object and is thrown back. After that, Sosuke and Sarah live a heartwarming daily life. And in episode 11, it was interesting to watch the two girls who have feelings for Sosuke mysteriously team up to make chocolate together, not knowing that they have the same crush on each other. The final episode of “Weird’s Salad Bowl,” which was full of laughs as one event after another unfolds, will be next week!

The 11th installment of this series features a roundtable discussion with Furukawa Makoto (role of Kaburaya Sosuke), Yano Hinaki (role of Sara Da Odin), and Takada Yuuki (role of Naganawa Yuna).

-What did you think of episode 11?

Yano: So, the Livia figure has finally fallen into Sarah’s hands…

Furukawa: So you’re just touching on that point right away (laughs).

–It was quite a well-made product.

Furukawa: I thought it was amazing.

Takada: I also felt that Nozomi’s love for Livia was genuine. Because she used real hair and stuff. If she doesn’t put it on a Shinto altar or something, it’ll attract bad things…

Yano: A special grade cursed object…

Furukawa: Hahaha (laughs). It’s scary when you see something like, “Isn’t her hair getting a little long?” But Livia is the type who’s like, “Look! Look!” So I think she’s really young mentally and pure and innocent.

Yano: And because it has a customization feature, people end up noticing “that.”

–That’s true, but I wanted Livia to realize at some point that she was going too far.

Furukawa: I didn’t notice. But I’d love to see that figure made and sold, even if it doesn’t use real fur. I’m sure there will be people who would buy it (laughs).

Takada: But even Livia was able to play the guitar quickly after practicing, and she’s a really earnest person who can do anything.

Furukawa: He’s versatile. And he has great physical abilities.

Yano: I guess I’m better at using my body than my mind…

Takada: He’s a good character.

–It doesn’t make sense that you’d live for music when figures are thrown back at you.

古川：「某にはもうバンドしかないのです！」……そうかな〜？　でもまぁ、いいかってなりました（笑）。

高田：本当にキャラが立ってるなぁ。

古川：あと収録香盤表に、明日美はずっと『プリケツ』と書かれていたんですよ。源氏名をいつまで使っているんだと。

矢野：台本はずっとプリケツでしたよね（笑）。

高田：いやぁ、救世グラスホッパーの3人はすごい個性です……。
