The song “Warcry” for the 7th episode, composed by the music of this work, Yudai Bando, and guest vocalist Taiiku Okazaki, will be released from 24:00 on Saturday, May 25th!
Episode 7, “Monster No. 9,” takes place during the Sagamihara subjugation operation, which is the first mission for Kafka and his new recruits. After the captain, Mina Ahero, subjugates the main beast, Reno Ichikawa and Iharu Furuhashi, who are working to subdue the remaining beasts that appear in large numbers, encounter Monster No. 9, who disguised himself as a human and entered the battlefield.
They fight back with all their strength, but just when Reno and Iharu have exhausted all options, Kafka, who has transformed into Kaiju No. 8, rushes to their rescue. Taiiku Okazaki participates as a guest vocalist in the song “Warcry” in the movie, which enlivens the battle scene between Kaiju No. 8 and Kaiju No. 9.
The powerful battle scene in which Kaiju No. 8 rushes to help his friends in a pinch and completely defeats Kaiju No. 9 with overwhelming power is enlivened by a sound that sounds as if it is about to collapse.
