Pochacco is a Sanrio character who made his debut in 1989 and is a boy dog who loves walking on the streets. He is curious, clumsy, and a bit nosy. At the 2024 Sanrio Character Awards, a popular voting event for Sanrio characters, he took first place in the initial preliminary results and second place in the interim rankings, and is attracting attention as to whether he will be able to take the crown from last year’s fourth place.
“Pochacco x PARCO 35th Anniversary” will be held in conjunction with Chofu PARCO, which opened on May 25, 1989, celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, and is the first of an anniversary project in collaboration with Pochacco, which is also celebrating its 35th anniversary. What is done as. As the main visual for the project, an illustration with the theme of “Marche held in a park” was drawn.
“Parco” means “park” in Italian. “PARCO, a place (space) where people gather, share time and space, have fun and relax,” depicts Pochacco and his friends having fun at the marche.
During the period, there will be a limited shop “Pochacco x PARCO 35th Anniversary POP UP STORE” where you can find Pochacco goods, including goods with original designs using newly drawn illustrations.
