— Please tell us how you felt when it was decided that “Puniru is a Cute Slime” would be made into a TV anime and when it was decided that you would be appearing in the show.
Nakai: “I was given the opportunity to appear in a film with such a cute title. So I thought I had to gather up all the purity inside me.
After reading the original work, I realized that it wasn’t like that, and that’s how I came to this point.
–Please tell us about your enthusiasm for playing this character.
Nakai: “I’m very happy to play the role of a mad scientist. Playing a character with strong opinions is a liberating experience. He’s not the type of person you’d want living next door to you, but I want to love him.

“Puniru wa Kawaii Slime” is an original work that has been serialized on the web comic distribution site “Weekly CoroCoro Comic” since its launch.
The story begins with Puniru, a slime created by the main character Kotaro, transforming into an incredibly beautiful girl.
