This year, the cast will include Maria Naganawa (Cure Wonderful/Inukai Komugi), Atsumi Tanezaki (Cure Friendy/Inukai Iroha), Hayate Matsuda (Cure Nyamie/Nekoyashiki Yuki), Reina Ueda (Cure Rilian/Nekoyashiki Mayu), Chihaya Yoshitake (opening theme singer), Ami Ishii (ending theme singer), Moeha Ushiromoto (ending theme singer), Machico (former Pretty Cure singer), and Rie Kitagawa (former Pretty Cure singer). This stellar cast will color the new beginning of the 21st year of “Pretty Cure,” which celebrated its 20th anniversary last year.
Every year, Animate Times delivers a relay interview about “PreCure Live”. The sixth installment is with Maria Naganawa, who plays Cure Wonderful/Inukai Komugi. Every week, we hear her lovely and pure voice. In an email interview, we asked her about her enthusiasm for the live, as well as the songs included in “Wonderful PreCure! Vocal Album ~We are Wonderful!!!!”, which was released in July, and the merchandise that everyone is interested in.

–Looking back from when you started recording “Wonderful Pretty Cure!” (“Wanpuri”) to today, please tell us if you have noticed any changes in your feelings or realizations.
Maria Naganawa (hereinafter, Naganawa): I’ve been on set with the cast and staff for a long time since recording began, and I’ve always thought they were wonderful people, but now I feel that they are even more wonderful, warm, and shining. I want to continue to discover more and more of everyone’s wonderful points.
–So then, please tell us what you thought when you found out that there would be a “Wonderful Precure! LIVE2024 FUN☆FUN☆Evolution!” live concert.
長縄：『ひろがるスカイ！プリキュア』の皆さんのライブを見させていただいていたので、こんな素敵なライブを、自分も『わんぷり』の皆さんとできることが、とっても幸せなことだと思いましたし、絶対に盛り上がるライブにしたいという気持ちが湧きました。
――長縄さんに前回お話をうかがった際に「全プリキュア20th Anniversary LIVE！」をご覧になったことを教えていただき「イベントやライブを見られたり、足を運べたりすることは、とても素敵だなと。生きてて良かったと思ってしまいました」とおっしゃっていました。「LIVE2024 FUN☆FUN☆えぼりゅーしょん！」では、その喜びを今度は長縄さんが与える側となりますが、ライブではどのようなところを大切にしていきたいですか？
長縄：長く続いている『プリキュア』シリーズ。そんなとても大切な作品を盛り上げる立場にいるからには、たくさん輝いてきた『プリキュア』シリーズの変わらない元気さ・強さ・可愛さを大切にしていきたいです！ そしてそこに『わんぷり』らしさも加えて、ますます勢いをつけられるように頑張ります！
――毎年プリキュアライブではボーカルアルバム収録曲が披露されており、最新曲をライブで聴けるのも楽しみなところです。ここからはアルバム収録曲についてもお伺いさせてください。まずはこむぎちゃんならではの「わんだふる♡わお」。聴いたときの第一印象や、レコーディングでのエピソード、お気に入りの歌詞などありましたら教えて下さい。
長縄：「わんだふる♡わお」をはじめて聴いたときは、なんて犬が歩いている情景が浮かぶ曲なのだろうか！と驚きました。わんちゃんらしさ全開のピアノの音がお気に入りです。
――「Hello・Bow・Mew ～We are わんだふる!!!!～」についても、聴いたときの第一印象や、レコーディングでのエピソード、お気に入りの歌詞などを教えて下さい。
長縄：〈うぇ～い☆〉という歌詞が印象的でした。まゆとユキはどうやって言うのかな！？とわくわくしていました！
――魅力的な楽曲がたくさん収録されている「『わんだふるぷりきゅあ！』ボーカルアルバム ～We are わんだふる！！！！～」。収録された曲の中で、特に印象に残った曲はありますか？
長縄：キャラクターソングは、それぞれのキャラクターにピッタリな曲調で、聴けば聴くほどその子の魅力が伝わり、愛が深まるので大好きです。シンガーさんの曲は、お三方の異なる歌声が『わんぷり』の雰囲気そしてチーム感を強く感じることができ、聴いていて『わんぷり』に浸ることができます。大好きです。
