The second season of the TV anime “Funeral of Frieren” has been decided! The teaser visual and second season announcement video have been released, and congratulatory comments and illustrations from Yamada Kanehito and Abe Tsukasa have arrived.The popular manga “Funeral of Frieren” (written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe) currently being serialized in “Weekly Shonen Sunday” (Shogakukan) has been announced to have a second season of the TV anime!

Along with the announcement of the second season, the teaser visual and the announcement video for the second season were released. Following the announcement of the second season, congratulatory comments and illustrations from Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe have also arrived.

The first season covered the First Class Wizard Exam arc, in which Freiren battles to gain the qualifications to become a First Class Wizard, which is necessary to reach Aureole, the land where souls sleep, the destination of her journey.

The story continues from the end of the first season, when Frieren, his apprentice Fern, who has qualified as a first-class wizard, and the warrior Stark set out on a journey once again from Oisarst, the setting of the First-Class Wizard Exam Arc.

In the original work, the series will begin with Chapter 61 of Volume 7 of the manga, and animation production will be handled by Madhouse, as in the first season.

The announcement video features a teaser visual and a newly recorded voice of Frieren, played by Atsumi Tanezaki, saying, “Shall we continue our journey?”

And the illustration celebrating the announcement of the second season from Abe Tsukasa depicts the “Hero Party” of Frieren, Himmel, Heiter, and Eisen.

“Funeral Parlor Frieren” is a manga written by Yamada Kanehito and illustrated by Abe Tsukasa, which is currently being serialized in “Weekly Shonen Sunday” (Shogakukan).

Set in the world “after” the Demon King was defeated by a hero and his party, the story follows the journey of Frieren, a magician who has lived for over a thousand years and who defeated the Demon King alongside the hero, and the new people she meets.

The story, woven together by the characters, features heart-wrenching drama and dialogue, magic and sword battles, and humor that will have you laughing, all in a unique timeline set after the defeat of the Demon King, and has won over many readers.
