“Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction” Announced Production of 18-episode anime series with a different ending from the movie version! Teaser video released!The film “Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction” had its first chapter released in theaters in March 2024, followed by the second chapter in May.

It has now been announced that an anime series based on this work will consist of 18 episodes.

The animated series version, which includes a different ending scene from the movie and some memorable episodes from the original that were not fully depicted, will be included on the Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction Blu-ray, which will be released on Wednesday, December 4th, and in the GAGA★ONLINE STORE exclusive complete box set.

Along with the announcement, a teaser video for the anime series was released.

As soon as the first chapter of the movie “Dededede” was released in theaters in March this year and the second chapter in May, it received a flood of praise for its excellent resolution of plot twists and tightly crafted story structure, and many people were touched by the “absolute” friendship between Kadode (voiced by Ikuta Rira) and Ontan (voiced by Ano).

Now, an anime series version of this work is being born! The ending of the second chapter of the movie version was a sequence drawn by the original author, Inio Asano, for the theater, and it ended with a shocking ending that was completely different from the original. However, the completed anime series will depict an alternate world line where Kadode and Ouran live 16 years later in a total of 18 episodes, a must-see for fans of the original work.

In addition, a teaser video packed with highlights of the anime series has been released! It includes many popular scenes from the original work that were not included in the movie version, such as the episode depicting the meeting between Hiroshi (voiced by Junichi Suwabe), O-Ran’s brother, and Yuminba, a high school girl about to take the university entrance exam, an episode about Kate, a journalist interviewing a mother and daughter living in the black smoke zone, and a powerful battle of robots rampaging freely in the devastated world after the “8/32” mother ship explosion.

In addition, to showcase the anime series for the first time, a one-night-only all-night screening event of the anime series (all 18 episodes) will be held in November! Details such as the schedule and speakers will be announced on the official website.
