A connection was formed between the two who were both lonely. As they spent time together, Bell’s honest and kind personality and his honest feelings for Hestia made her fall head over heels in love with him. She began to hope that they could overcome the differences between gods and humans and become mutually in love with each other.
However, Hestia is not the only one who is captivated by Bell’s personality. Bell is liked by various characters regardless of gender or race. Hestia, who knows this situation, sometimes scolds Bell out of jealousy, but her sincere feelings remain unchanged.
As mentioned above, the scenes where he is doting on Belle and when he gets jealous are cute, but the charm of this work is also the relationship that goes beyond love. The scenes where they grow together and their feelings for each other grow are very touching.
The trigger for this was episode 3 of season 1, “Hestia’s Knife,” in which Hestia is chased by a monster called a Silverback.
Until now, Bell had been no match for large monsters, but with the weapon Hestia gave him – the Hestia Knife – to which she borrowed a large amount of money, he fights and successfully protects her from the Silverback.
Through this battle, the bond between Bell and Hestia grew stronger, and they became one as they faced the upcoming battles.
Bell grows rapidly under Hestia’s tutelage, and because his growth is so rapid, he attracts the attention of those around him, both in a good and bad way.

Hestia, who had been watching his growth up close, came to trust him strongly. Bell was also grateful to Hestia for being generous and respectful of the path he was taking, and realized that it was only because of her that he was able to grow.
However, in episode 12 of season 3, which depicts the incident with the “Xenos,” Bell fights a fierce battle with the strongest heretic, Asterios, and is defeated. After the defeat, Bell uses his frustration as a springboard to grow both physically and mentally. There is not a trace of anxiety on Hestia’s face when she says, “That frustration pushed Bell’s capacity to the next stage.”
In the following episode, “Dungeon Expedition,” even though she complains about Bell and the others having to go into the labyrinth (dungeon) as part of their forced mission, she sees him off with a cheerful look on her face.
