Frontier Works Co., Ltd. provides technical support for real-time AR synthesis at the Kitami Autumn Festival – Okhotsk Marche 2024Frontier Works Co., Ltd. will provide technical support for the Kitami Autumn Festival – Okhotsk Marche 2024, which will be held from Friday, October 11th to Sunday, October 13th, 2024, and is sponsored by Kitami City and the Kitami City Tourism Association. The company will provide real-time CG composite video production using an equipment system based on the photorealistic real-time 3D virtual studio/AR platform “Reality Engine.”

The real-time compositing system in the virtual studio that we are providing this time is the same one that NHK used for compositing for the Tokyo Olympics and the Red and White Song Battle.

In a temporary green screen real-time distribution studio set up at the venue, local universities and high schools will use CG synthesis to create promotional videos and programs as educational experience programs. These CG-synthesized videos will be projected in real time on monitors in the venue and simultaneously distributed online.

The event combines three events: the Kitami Chrysanthemum Festival, the Okhotsk Kitami Halloween Festival, and the Kitami Oktoberfest.
