The plot and preview of episode 25 (episode 1 of season 2), “To Kyoto”, have been released.

Deciding to fight Shishio, Kenshin leaves Kamiya Dojo. In order to avoid involving anyone in the fight, he walks alone along the Tokaido road to Kyoto. The members of Kamiya Dojo are left behind in Tokyo. After Kenshin says goodbye, Kaoru is overcome with sadness and becomes depressed. Meanwhile, as Sanosuke and Yahiko try to follow Kenshin to Kyoto, Ichi stands in their way, telling them, “This is no place for you guys.”
