This time, the main footage with character voices from the Japanese cast and new stills have been released.
In addition, a release commemorative event will be held with the Japanese cast in attendance.
Two main scenes have been released this time.
In the first scene, Max, Lotta, and Professor Form Worthy are shocked by the sight of Olhee and the others eating garbage with gusto. In fact, the three of them were developing a machine that absorbs odors to solve Smellyville’s garbage problem, but the machine breaks down due to an unexpected accident. While the professor laments the breakdown, Max realizes that Olhee and the others could be the key to solving the garbage problem.
Max, delighted at their fateful encounter, says, “Thank you for coming to our town!”, but Mossy and Messy look puzzled and simply say, “Huh?” The comical exchanges with the optimistic Olhey and his friends are also worth watching.
In the second scene, Max jumps on his bike to chase Hammer to find out what he’s up to. Lotta is surprised by Max’s behavior and asks, “What’s with you suddenly acting all cool?” but she also says, “That’s a super heroic idea.” However, she soon faces the difficult task of chasing Hammer, who has just dashed off in a bright red sports car.
At Messy’s suggestion, they decide to chase the hammer on Firebottom, a dragon with a keen nose that is perfect for chasing. Max, riding on a dragon’s back for the first time in his life, is confused and asks, “Are there no seat belts on dragons?” When Firebottom soars into the sky at top speed, Max and Lotta forget their worries and let out cries of joy at how much fun they are having.
The stills released along with the main footage show Max and the children working together with Olhei to solve the garbage problem.
To celebrate the release of this film, a special event will be held on October 5th!
The five speakers were Matsumoto Rika, who plays the main character Max, Inoue Kikuko, who plays Max’s mother Sophia, Morikubo Shoutarou, who plays the unscrupulous businessman Hammer, Takanashi Marika, who plays Mossy, the trash-loving member of the Olhee family, and Hayama Shota, who plays Messy.
