It has been announced that the TV anime series will begin broadcasting on TOKYO MX, BS Nippon Television, Sun Television, and other channels from Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
The first promotional video and second teaser visual were also released. It was also decided that the opening theme will be performed by Lezel and the ending theme by Pmaru-sama. Additional cast members were announced: Yoh Daichi, Akiyoshi Sekine, Koji Seki, and Seiji Maeda.

The first PV and second teaser visuals were released during the first solo live broadcast of “The Ghost of Sorrow Wants to Retire” held on Sunday, August 18, 2024.
The first trailer was the first public release of the long-awaited anime footage. It is full of the charm of the main character Cry’s “lament” and the characters, making it a powerful trailer that you won’t be able to take your eyes off of!

The second teaser visual shows a lazy Cry looking unusually serious, but it actually shows him in a funny scene of him being photographed for promotional purposes in connection with the anime adaptation.
In addition, the livestream also featured a live dubbing of the short story “The Ghost of Grief Wants to be Recorded,” which is related to the second teaser visual. This short story was written by the original author, Tsukikage, and is only available during this stream and on the official website.
