白崎純と琉実・那織の神宮寺姉妹は小さいころから家族同然で育った幼なじみ。特定の関係を持つでもなく交流を続けてきた3人の関係は、ある日、琉実が発した一言でいびつな三角関係へと変わっていきます。
放送を記念して、キャスト陣のメールインタビューを実施！ 第11話放送後の今回、白崎 純役・坂田将吾さんに第11話を振り返っていただきました。
ーー本作は、物語はもちろん、キャラクターたちを魅力的に描いた映像面も見どころかと思います。完成した映像をご覧になった感想、また、スタッフ陣のこだわりを感じたエピソードをお聞かせください。
白崎 純役・坂田将吾さん（以下、坂田）：完成した映像を観た時、なんて細部にこだわっている作品なんだと感動しました。背景のリアルさや綺麗なエフェクト、そしてキャラクターの表情、目線、手の動きなどに演出が散りばめられていて、細かく観ていけば観ていくほどスタッフ陣のこだわりが感じられて、すごく面白いなと感じます。
ーー後半にかけて琉実、那織、それぞれのストーリーが並行して進んでいました。改めて、クライマックスにかけて展開していく物語の流れや、双子ならではの構成をご覧になった感想をお聞かせください。
Sakata: I think it’s a really wonderful story, as it’s packed with the charm of being childhood friends and twins, and the anguish of having to choose one. The twins are always thinking about something, and the story progresses as they take action on the current situation, which is a beautiful story, and as Jun, I was able to be swayed by the charming twins throughout.
–Did your acting change towards the latter half of the story? Or was there anything you decided not to change from the beginning? Please share any memorable directions, if any.
Sakata: As the story progressed, I definitely grew to like Rumi and Naori more. The scenes where I talked to the twins became more and more fun. I feel like the closeness and comfort were reflected in my acting. Also, from the beginning, I wanted to express the pain of love, which I think is one of the charms of this story, and to do that, I tried to act as if I was a life-sized boy. The most memorable direction was, “I want to create a contrast between this scene and the next one, so make it more like a lover’s scene.” I learned that it is because there were fun and sweet times that the bitter and painful scenes that follow stand out.
