The 19th Seiyu Awards, Japan’s premier event celebrating excellence in voice acting, is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 15, 2025. Since its inception in 2007, the Seiyu Awards have honored the most outstanding voice actors of the year, and this year’s event promises to be as exciting as ever.
Voting for MVS “Most Valuable Seiyu” Now Open
Fans can now cast their votes for the MVS (Most Valuable Seiyu) award, which recognizes the voice actor who has demonstrated exceptional success and impact throughout the year. Voting is open from Sunday, September 1, 2024, to Thursday, October 31, 2024. Each voter is allowed to cast one vote, regardless of gender or career status.
How to Vote:
- Visit the official Seiyu Awards website and use the voting form available there.
- Alternatively, vote through the official d Anime Store website.
- Additional voting platforms will be announced soon.
Eligibility for Voting: Voice actors who were active between Sunday, October 1, 2023, and Monday, September 30, 2024, are eligible for consideration.
New Talent Discovery Audition
In addition to the MVS voting, the Seiyu Awards are also accepting entries for the New Talent Discovery Audition. This initiative aims to uncover and promote emerging voice acting talent, providing them with a platform to showcase their skills.
