One of the most popular stories in the original work is the third round of the Spring High Tournament, Karasuno High School vs. Nekoma High School. The film “Haikyu!! The Movie: Battle at the Dump,” which depicts the so-called “Battle at the Dump,” will be released in theaters on Friday, February 16, 2024. It was a huge hit, grossing over 11.5 billion yen.
The release of the long-awaited Blu-ray and DVD has been decided as Wednesday, October 30th. The deluxe edition package design and layout diagram have been revealed.
The deluxe edition comes in a special clear case, a three-sided outer case with a newly drawn illustration by character designer Takahiro Kishida of the members of Karasuno High School and Nekoma High School taking on the “Dumpster Battle”, and a special digipack. The audio bonus features a re-recording of the audio commentary “Gather! Audio Commentary Screening!!” that was held at the theater. The video bonus features a collection of stage greeting event footage and a collection of promotional videos and commercials.
Furthermore, the “enclosed extras” include a special booklet 1 with storyboards for the final rally of “The Battle at the Garbage Dump” along with interviews and commentary from the staff, a special booklet 2 with numerous visuals, a set of two special sticker sheets, and a serial number for entering the advance lottery for the “Haikyu!! 10th Event -NEXT STEP-” included in the packaging. These are some of the luxurious extras included.
