The anime “Furiren: The Final Chapter” will be celebrating its first anniversary next month, and a special project will be held to celebrate the first anniversary! A special visual by animation production company Madhouse has also been released.

Firstly, a special visual commemorating the first anniversary by animation production company Madhouse has been released! The visual depicts the old and new parties of Frieren, Fern, Stark, Himmel, Heiter and Eisen, together with a beautiful flower field.
Also, on Saturday, September 28th, a special screening of “Funeral of Frieren” will be held to celebrate the first anniversary of the anime broadcast! Episodes 1 “End of the Adventure”, 2 “It Doesn’t Have to Be Magic”, 3 “Magic That Kills People” and 4 “The Land Where Souls Sleep” will be shown on the big screens at seven movie theaters nationwide. These are the first special episodes that were broadcast on Friday Road Show on September 29th last year.
Of these, six actors appeared at TOHO Cinemas Hibiya to talk on stage after the screening: Tanezaki Atsumi (role of Frieren), Okamoto Nobuhiko (role of Himmel), Ichinose Kana (role of Fern), Kobayashi Chiaki (role of Stark), Tochi Hiroki (role of Heiter), and Ueda Youji (role of Eisen) !
The event will also be broadcast live at six other cinemas simultaneously.
This will be a rare opportunity to watch the anime film simultaneously in seven cinemas and celebrate the first anniversary with the cast. In addition, viewers of the special screenings at each cinema will receive a special postcard with the first anniversary visual .
Tickets for the screening at TOHO Cinemas Hibiya can be pre-reserved on Ticket Pia from 11:00 on Friday, September 7th until 23:59 on Monday, September 16th (National Holiday). Tickets for the other six cinemas will go on sale on Saturday, September 21st.
