Nijisanji Koshien, commonly known as Nijiko, is held every year by Tenkai and Maimoto, but due to Maimoto having temporarily suspended her activities due to physical and mental illness, the event was in jeopardy for being canceled in 2024.

However, on July 10th, Maimoto’s name appeared in the video posted by the official Nijisanji channel announcing the holding of “Nijikou 2024”! Along with the holding of “Nijikou”, Maimoto’s return to activities was announced, which became a hot topic.

In this article, we will report on the entire school training period of “Nijikou 2024”! We also summarized the outline of the tournament rules and the participating coaches.

In “Nijisanji Koshien,” pre-selected Nijisanji Livers will become coaches and train baseball teams in the Eikan Nine mode of the “Power Pro” game series. The trained teams will then compete against each other in a league match.

The game used in “Nijisanji Koshien 2024” is “Powerful Pro Baseball 2024-2025,” which was just released on July 18, 2024. As in previous years, the Eikan Nine mode will be used, and players will develop a baseball team over three in-game years to prepare for the league matches.

The members of the baseball team are decided at a draft meeting held before the start of the player training period. Highlights include watching each coach compete for the live streamers they want on their team, and cheering on the in-game characters as if they were live streamers.

The rules for Nijikou change slightly every year, but what are the rules this year? Let’s take a look at the rules for league matches and drafts, as well as the tournament schedule!

・Team creation using Eikan Nine must be streamed.

・Team creation period is from July 18th (Thursday) to August 6th (Tuesday).

・Resetting at the start of Eikan Nine is allowed up to two times.

・The start year of Eikan Nine is fixed to 2024.

・Teams will be created over a three-year period until the summer of 2026.

・Reincarnated players and former players will be allowed.

・There will be no region changes in the new year. *A regional draft will be used.

・Purchasing items using Power Points is prohibited, and Eikan Nine items received as gifts cannot be used (items can be purchased within Eikan Nine mode).

・Controls during the main tournament include player substitution instructions, and batting, pitching, and defense controls will be automatic.・

The main tournament will be played in a league format with groups of 4 divided into A and B.

・League matches will be played in a round robin format, and rankings will be determined by winning points.

・A win is worth 3 points, a draw is worth 1 point, and a loss is worth 0

points.・If points are tied, rankings will be decided by goal difference.

・If goal difference is also the total points, it will be decided by rock-paper-scissors.

・League matches will be 9 innings (may be called, no overtime).

・Ranking matches and the final will be played in 9 innings (no called, may be overtime)

・Liverers who are currently active and belong to Nijisanji in each country who have been confirmed and given permission to use their names in advance are eligible to be nominated.

・The free slots for “Tasumi Riku” and “Yugamin” are players that anyone can create (it is not necessary to create them).

・The 1st to 3rd rounds will be a bidding system, the 4th to 7th rounds will be a waiver system, and from the 8th round onwards, the winner will be decided by roulette.

・A draft will also be conducted by bidding system for regions (to prevent regional bias).

・The 5 most recently debuted new livers will be allocated appropriately during the training period.

・If a new liver debuts during the training period, they will also be allocated appropriately.

・Players whose nomination is confirmed will automatically be confirmed to join.

・The official nomination order will be recorded up to the 7th round (roulette lotteries from the 8th round onwards will not be ranked).

・Nominations of “Eudric” and “Tenkai Tsukasa” are prohibited (a measure in response to the increase in the number of livers from 2021)
