There are many famous literary works in Japan, many of which we have seen or heard at least once during our school days. However, there are surprisingly few works whose stories we actually know. When you actually try to read them, you may find it difficult to fully understand them due to differences in style from modern language and differences in values from the times.
Therefore, in this project, famous literature will be “super-translated” – that is, a modern arrangement of famous literature with a modern interpretation, and a modern translation will be performed as a reading play with an original scenario. We offer a new way to enjoy famous literature in a form that is easy for people living in the modern age to understand!
I hope that this super-translated work will be an opportunity for you to encounter literary works.
