第2位に輝いたのは、「Incomplete Ruler」。IDOLiSH7とTRIGGERのセンター2人によるデュエット曲です。2人のハーモニーはあまりに美しく、2人のこれまでの歩みも相まって涙なしでは聞けないというファンも多数。堂々のランクインとなりました。筆者も何度聞いても胸を掴まれるような想いがします……。
栄えある第1位は「RESTART POiNTER」。アイドル活動も波に乗り始めた頃、持病の悪化で一時センターを他メンバーに託していた陸さんが、センター復帰を果たした際の楽曲です。そのライブMCで陸さんは、「優しくて魅力あふれるメンバーと応援してくれるファンを自慢したい！」と話し、「精一杯、歌い続けて、大好きな、大切な、この空間を守ります！」と決意を新たにこちらの楽曲を歌い始めるのでした。
●「Mr.AFFECTiON」／IDOLiSH7
アイドリッシュセブンに出会ったばかりの頃、まだ全くハマっていない時にたまたまやっていた、IDOLiSH7単独ライブを軽い気持ちで見たことがきっかけでした。カッコよすぎるイントロ、ステージを走る氷のプロジェクションマッピング、直前とは打って変わったクールな衣装に身を包んだ、2次元から飛び出したようなキャストさん。そして背後のスクリーンに映る、爆イケ赤髪男。全てに衝撃を受けました。全人類に見て欲しい。アイドリッシュセブン、もとい七瀬陸に本格的にハマったきっかけのひとつです。それから数日後、この曲のMVが上がっていることを知り、嬉々としてYouTubeを開きました。これまた強い衝撃を受ける。七瀬陸カッコよすぎ。水中に落ちていく時の表情、たまらん。一時このMVを死ぬほど繰り返し見ていました。言うことはこれに尽きます。この曲の七瀬陸、ヤバい。
