There is a wide variety of characters, from the hero and heroine to rivals and guest characters. Who among these characters is the most popular among Anime! Anime! readers?

So, following on from last year, we conducted a reader survey titled “What comes to mind when you think of a ‘tanned’ character?”

We received responses from 483 people during the survey period from June 19th to June 23rd. The gender ratio was roughly 30 percent male, 65 percent female, and 5 percent gave no response, with more females than males. In terms of age group, the majority were young people, with roughly 40 percent under 19 and 20 percent in their 20s.
