Voting took place from August last year to March this year, with a total of 253,999 votes received in the “Ekimen General Election” to select the strongest Yamanote Line members. Following the selection of the five Yamanote Line representatives from LATCH, new visuals have been released for the five runners-up who unfortunately missed out on becoming representative LATCH members!

“STATION IDOL LATCH!” has been an idol project set on the JR Yamanote Line since its launch in 2021, with a focus on voice dramas, music distribution, fan meetings and live performances, comic adaptations, etc., as well as station announcements using characters. We are doing a unique development.

In the “Ekimen General Election” to select the strongest members of the Yamanote Line, which was held until March 31, 2024, a total of 30 LATCH members were divided into five blocks according to their attributes and participated.

As a result of a total of 68,099,880 voting points and a total of 253,999 votes, Ebisu Station/Fumugi Ginba (CV: Hidenori Takahashi), Hamamatsucho Station/Koryu Minato (CV: Sho Kano), Uguisudani Station/Yuka Negishi (CV: Junta Terajima), Ikebukuro Station / Mitsukato Aoba Owl (CV: Nobunaga Shimazaki), Ueno Station / Yo Ameya (CV: Jun Kasama) were selected as first place, and the other day they were chosen as “Yamanote Line representative A new visual was announced as “LATCH”.

The five second-place members from each block who unfortunately missed out on entering the representative LATCH are Mejiro Station/Rei Soma (CV: Masahiro Ota), Osaki Station/Osaki Shinichi (CV: Hisayoshi Suganuma), and Shinjuku Station/Yuki Jindo. (CV: Atsushi Tamaru), Tokyo Station/Tokairin Suzune (CV: Kensho Ono), Akihabara Station/Yuo Raiden (CV: Hiroto Suzuki) new visuals were also released today!

At the POP UP to be held at Ikebukuro P’PARCO from June 21st (Friday), many new goods with new visuals of Yamanote Line representative LATCH and 2nd place LATCH will be on sale. “LATCH”, which is celebrating its 3rd anniversary, will continue to run, including the release of a new song by Yamanote Line representative LATCH scheduled for this summer, and a collaboration cafe with Ikebukuro Motto Café that will be held from July 3rd (Wednesday).
