A talented person who graduated at the top of his class at Hachioji Technical College. When she was in junior high school, she was rescued by Mina Abyaku, the commander of the 3rd unit, and she admired her and volunteered to join the defense force. He hates losing and is a mood maker who cares about his friends.
Iharu has many rude words and actions, such as calling Kafka “old man,” but he is very caring towards his friends and is a mood maker who brightens up the often dark workplace of the Defense Force.
After being saved by Mina when he was in middle school, he decided he wanted to become a defense force member. Since then, she has lived her life thinking only about becoming stronger.
He has a strong desire to be the protector, not the one being protected, and has the courage to help his friends when they are in trouble, even if he knows they are in a bad fight. He is also very competitive and is very conscious of his classmates who are more capable than him. It seems like he spends his days competing with them.

Although Iharu’s liberation force has been sluggish, it turns out that he is actually a rare type of person known as an instant fit.
Due to the special structure of their brains, they are unable to maintain a high state of liberation power, but the explosive combat ability they display in a very short period of time is comparable to that of a captain class. This is the so-called zone state (super-concentrated state).
This is Iharu’s third Instant Adapter, and under the guidance of Ogata, the fourth unit commander of the same type, he learns combat techniques that intentionally create a zone state. Then, the instantaneous liberation force rose to 88%. He gained the ability to subdue large monsters by himself, and grew into a worthy force for the defense force.

これ以上は危険だと判断した隊長・緒方がかけたストップに伊春が割って入ります。共に切磋琢磨してきたレノの想いを知る伊春は、「レノは必ず実戦試験をクリアできる」と緒方に訴え、実戦試験に協力。
レノに対しても「なんでも1人でやろうとするな！」と仲間を信頼するよう叱咤。その言葉で落ち着きを取り戻したレノは、伊春と協力して怪獣を討伐し、無事実戦試験をクリア！ 「ナンバーズ６」の正式な使用者として認められることとなります。
伊春は戦闘の中で、自分が天才でなくとも諦めずに必ず食らいついていくことを決意。伊春の高い精神力とレノとの友情に胸が熱くなるシーンです。
なお、このレノとの共闘の際に、緒方は伊春が自分と同じ瞬間適合者であると気付き、彼に自分の戦闘法を伝授することとなります。必死でレノをサポートする伊春の健闘があったからこそ、成長の機会が訪れたのです。
古橋伊春を演じるのは新祐樹さん。1994年3月6日生まれ、神奈川県出身。『東京リベンジャーズ』の花垣武道役をはじめ、『うちの会社の小さい先輩の話』の篠崎拓馬役など、人気作品のキャラクターを多く演じています。
