Since most of the anime that is currently being broadcast and released is based on manga, we have prepared the question Are you a manga fan or an anime fan?” (*Multiple answers allowed) .

20% of respondents were manga fans'' and 38% were anime fans,” meaning that anime fans were more popular . However, the number of respondents who answered “both” exceeded them at 63%, and it was noticeable that there were readers who enjoyed both manga and anime. Regarding works other than manga originals, 14% said they “liked light novels” and 11% said they “liked originals.”

Regarding whether they enjoy the original work or the anime first , 35% said If I like the original work, I also watch the anime,'' and 41% said If I was hooked by the anime, I would also buy the original work . ” The result is that there are slightly more fans who become interested in the anime and try to touch the original work.

When asked about real-time viewing (real-time viewing), which involves watching anime while it is being broadcast rather than recording, 19% said they were definitely a real-time watcher,'' and 38% said they occasionally watch it in real-time . ” The total number of viewers is a majority, and it seems that there are many viewers who want to see the latest episodes as soon as possible and enjoy the excitement with other fans.
