The TV anime “Weird People’s Salad Bowl” is an unparalleled group comedy released by the duo of Yomi Hirasaka and Kantoku in this era. Poor detective Sosuke Kaburaya meets Sarah, a princess from another world who wields magic, while he was following him. And Livia, a female knight who has been chasing Sarah. The two spend a daily life that goes beyond their expectations.

In the fourth episode, Sosuke, who is assigned to investigate bullying, meets Yuna Naginawa, a middle school girl. Yuna denies that she is being bullied, but she gradually opens up to Sara, who does not read the atmosphere in a sense, and Sosuke, who gives her a sense of security.

In the 4th episode, Yuki Takada plays Yuna Naginawa, who loves Romance of the Three Kingdoms due to the influence of her father who passed away.

–Please tell us your impressions of the work “Weird Person’s Salad Bowl”.

Takada: When I read the original novel at the tape audition stage, I found it interesting and ended up reading quite a bit. There is a deadline for the audition, do you have time? That’s what I thought, but I got the impression that it had a good sense of rhythm and a good tempo, making it a quick read. There are various topics included, so what is this topic? It’s the kind of work that makes you want to look up the source material, and even though it’s a fantasy, there are some very familiar words, like internet memes, that I felt a sense of familiarity with.

–Rather than going to another world, coming from another world to present-day Japan may also lead to a sense of familiarity.

Takada: Certainly. It felt great to see Sara-chan (CV. Yano Hinaki) absorbing Japanese subculture like a sponge (lol).

–What impression did you have of Yuna Nagawa, played by Takada-san?

Takada: Because I thought it was a work with a lot of material, did the work change when Yuna-chan appeared? I thought. I felt like I was drawing on the modern problem of bullying.

Among them, Yuna is a very kind child who cares deeply for her mother, and she has the strength to protect her mother even if it means sacrificing herself. She has a lot of charm, but she is also a first-year junior high school student, so she also has some dangers, so she kept that in mind when auditioning and dubbing.

–What do you mean by danger?

高田：私も友奈ちゃんと境遇が似ていて、母子家庭なんです。子供って、大人が思うよりも大人のことを見ているじゃないですか。私も小学生のときから、お母さんの帰りが遅いなと思っても、わがままを言ったら困らせちゃうだろうなって考えられていたんですよね。それが無意識に出来上がっていくというのを経験しているぶん、友奈ちゃんともすごくシンクロしたというか。見ていてわかる！みたいなところが結構あったんです。だから大人に頼るとか、誰かに助けてと言うことが難しくなっちゃったんだろうなって思ったんですよね。そこが危うさでもあるのかなって。

だから破天荒で自由に楽しく今を生きているサラちゃんと惣助さん（CV.古川 慎）が現れてくれて嬉しかったです。友奈ちゃんの悩みから救ってくれる存在が来てくれて良かったね～って、親心のような気持ちで見ていました。
