In the third episode, we have Akane Fujita who plays the leader of a cult religious group, Ai Minakami.

–Please tell us your impressions of the work “Weird Person’s Salad Bowl”.

Fujita: I thought it was a very strong work with very strong characters. The setting of the character I played, Minakami Boai, was pretty good, and as the title suggests, they were all really weirdos (lol). Also, since the story is set in Gifu Prefecture, it was impressive to see so many local items featured.

ーーIt makes you want to go there.

Fujita: That’s right! Officially, Gifu Tanmen is cooperating with us, and when I saw photos of local shops putting up posters, I felt supported, so I would like to go there if I have the chance. is. Aren’t you going to hold an event? (lol).

–Did you receive a lot of attention during the tape audition?

Fujita: I only received Nozomi. She knew about the other characters, but Nozomi was a character she had never played before, so she thought it would be fun. I was recording my voice on the tape while my manager told me, Let's try doing it with more of a guru-like, divine presence.'' After the recording was over, Yomi Hirasaka said to me, I’m sorry for making you play a strange role,” but personally, I really enjoyed it.

–Please tell us about the appeal of Shinbo Ai.

Fujita: To put it bluntly, she is a straight-forward and religious child. Although it is not depicted in the anime, he was born into a family of a religious organization, had talent, and had ambitions to replace his parents.

However, after meeting Livia-sama, he becomes enthusiastic, thinking that this may be fate. The way she gets excited is so direct that it would be dangerous to say it’s dangerous, but I thought that her family environment was also a factor in her dangerous behavior.

–Did you have any direction when the dubbing actually started?

藤田：オーディションのときにやったままで大丈夫だった気がします。リヴィア様に出会い、このあとどんどん崩れてはいくんですけど、「もっと気持ち悪くなっていいよ」と明確に言っていただけたんですよね（笑）。

私は、キャラクターを任されたときに、そのキャラクターがブレてしまうのを怖がってしまうところがあったんですけど、ブレても大丈夫なくらいの幅が、望愛やほかのキャラクターにもあったので、そこを一切恐れずにやれたんです。それが本当に楽しかったです！

ーーみんなキャラクターが濃いですからね。アフレコも楽しそうだなと思いました。

藤田：作品のわちゃわちゃ感に比べると、現場はわりと静かめだったんですけど、惣助役の古川慎さんがぼそっと言ったひと言が面白くて会話が始まったりしていました。でも、こういう作品だからこそ、一緒に録れるとすごく楽しいんですよね。
