Animate Times took a close look at the artist and jacket photo shoot for this single, which gives a glimpse of Tomita’s new side!
Artist photo shoot for “Paradoxes” held at a studio in Tokyo. As soon as Mr. Tomita arrived at the scene, filming started immediately.
The ivory costume gives a sense of neatness, the jet black background, and the moonlight-like light shining in from diagonally above. The contrast between these creates a sense of ephemerality and beauty, and Tomita’s powerful eyes create a somewhat unrealistic worldview. Mr. Tomita carefully checked each cut while consulting with the staff, and it seems that Mr. Tomita’s enthusiasm for releasing his first CD in a year and a half can be felt.
After a while, Mr. Tomita was handed a brightly colored bouquet that stood out against the simple set. The shutter is released little by little through trial and error, such as changing the way the flowers are held and the color scheme of the bouquet. When checking the photos, Mr. Tomita was seen happily muttering, “It’s really good!”
Next, the staff began to create wind around Tomita using electric fans and blowers. A sense of dynamism is added to the image, giving it a completely different impression than before. In addition, in the cut of colorful flower petals flying in the wind, there was a link to the artist photo of the digital single “Silent Beat”.
Eventually, a staff member said, “OK!” and the shooting ended. Throughout the shoot, you can feel the magnificent worldview that dwells in the song “Paradoxes.” This is the 5th anniversary year of “Artist Miyu Tomita”, which will continue with her 5th single. It has been decided that his second album will be released in the summer of 2024, and expectations for the new world created by Mr. Tomita are only increasing.
