The personality from July to December 2024 will be Nakajima Yuki, who is known for her roles as Kunashiri Iren in the TV anime “Tandoku”, Gal D in “Hitoribocchi no Isekai Kairyaku”, and the games “BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!” (as Imai Lisa), “Project Sekai Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku” (as Hinomori Shiho), and “The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls Starlight Stage” (as Otokura Yuuki).

This month, Animate Times interviewed Nakajima right after the radio recording. What “voice actor things” does Nakajima talk about on his birthday? And in the famous corner where he says “this was the most straightforward etude so far,” the lines and background music don’t match!?

The six-month personality has already entered the second half. Nakajima-san talked extensively about the recording process, which gave us a glimpse of her various sides!

Yuki Nakajima (hereinafter, Nakajima): Thank you! Now that I think about it, it was close to my birthday… I’m surprised! (laughs)

–On the September broadcast of Lashinbang Radio, you talked about “memories of your birthdays so far,” but this time I’d like to ask you about your goals and aspirations for the coming year.

Nakajima: I thought it was about time to go for a health check. I’ve never been before. I’m turning 27 now, so I thought I should start paying more attention to my health.

–If you’re self-employed, it’s not easy to go there.

Nakajima: That’s right. I don’t even know how to get there in the first place (laughs). For example, if I worked for a company, I would probably go as if it were an event, but that’s not the case…

I didn’t know when or at what timing I should go, and I had been living without worrying about it at all, but then someone I used to work with told me, “You should go.” I thought, “Huh…?”, but I thought, “I’ll go someday,” and before I knew it, I was 26 years old, so I thought this year would be the year. That’s my goal! (laughs)

–Please continue to put your health first and do your best!

Nakajima: Yes, health is the most important thing! Let’s all stay healthy!

–The recording of “Lashinbang Radio” has now finished, and the October episode will begin. In addition to the radio show, you also took on a new challenge this time: “Read a script in 10 seconds!”

Nakajima: That’s right! The challenge was to read the script I was given within 10 seconds, and my record was 9.31 seconds. It was a close call… (laughs).

— Amazing! I read the script and thought it was quite wordy.

Nakajima: It was the result of my hard work, so I probably couldn’t have done it any faster… It was a challenge for a video for Lashinban’s SNS, and the video itself had to be under one minute. This one also came in at 59 seconds, which was perfect! (laughs)

–This is a miracle…!

Nakajima: I had fun recording that one too. I wonder if there will be another one…?
