We received comments from the six cast members appearing in the drama CD scheduled for release on November 27th!

–Please tell us your honest thoughts now that the recording is over.
Maeda Seiji (role of Takara Shun) [hereafter, Maeda]: I was surprised that it had been two years since the first recording, and it was a fun recording with a nostalgic feeling of “That’s right, at the beginning we were constantly missing each other and it was frustrating!” I was careful not to get too close as if it were recent.
Amagi Taichi / Gen Sato [hereafter, Gen Sato]: “Huh? Were they really this awkward with each other?” I was a little surprised at the gap between now and when I played them in the first volume. But they’re still as intimate as ever, and it was so much fun to relive each and every memory.
Also, when I performed for the first time, it was during the COVID-19 pandemic, and I often recorded alone with Maeda-san, so it was a refreshing experience to be able to perform together with the rest of the cast.
Aoi Goda (voice of Tanaka Hayato) [hereinafter, Goda]: While I was nostalgic about the differences between when we first met and now, I was able to enjoy the recording while remembering the feelings I had back then.
As Hayato Tanaka’s background is revealed in various ways, I had a hard time portraying his trashiness at the beginning and his exquisite sense of distance without exuding too much kindness. I also felt nervous about the Takamado duo’s exquisite sense of distance at that time, and that he was becoming aware of his role as a watchdog (laughs).
The bonus feature was the first time all the cast members were recorded together, and I felt happy to be able to participate as part of this cast, as I could feel the characters they were playing next to me. The distance between the cast members seemed to shrink with each recording, and it was a truly happy time, as if we were all going through our school days together. It was the best fun ever!!!!!
Takuya Sato (role of Kosuke Katori) [hereafter, Sato (Taku)]: The recording went very smoothly, and I was happy to be able to work with the two main actors and other fun co-stars. Please listen to the bonus features as well.
Mitsuki Koyasu (role of Satoshi Yamazaki) [hereafter, Koyasu]: The recording went by in a flash! And I was relieved that Zakki had a role (laughs). It was the first time we recorded together, so it was more fun than usual, including the interaction with the other cast members.
Chiaki Kobayashi (role of Takumi Segawa) [hereinafter, Kobayashi]: I was happy to be able to play Segawa again after a long time. In the bonus drama CD, there were many scenes where I was busy with Tanaka and other characters, so I was happy to be able to record the dialogue with everyone.
-Please tell us your impression of the character you played.
Maeda: He’s usually super cool, but he’s devoted and shy towards Amagi-kun, and in his heart he loves him with all his heart, but because he loves him so much he hesitates to take the next step. He shows all these different sides to him, and it’s fun to watch and act him. I wish I could have had a youth like that.
Sato (former): Although she appears cheerful, she actually has an incredibly sensitive side, so I try to be conscious of striking the right balance by carefully enunciating each and every word and acting in a way that makes it clear whether she is saying something on the outside or inside of her heart, or deliberately leaving it unclear whether she is saying something to protect the atmosphere in the situation or what she really thinks.
Also, I was able to talk with the staff and other people involved about things I noticed while we were doing the dialogue on set and ideas for the scenes, and some of these ideas were born from the challenge of saying, “Let’s give it a try!”, so I am always grateful to everyone, especially my teachers.
The similarity between us is that we both look like dogs. People often tell me I look like a dog too (laughs).
合田：田中隼人という人物はクズで陽キャというイメージなのですが、根っこの部分では実は優しさに満ち溢れているんじゃないかと思っています。それは彼のカリスマ性がそうさせるのか、はたまた仲間への思いがそうさせるのか、何にせよ発言全てがいい方向に転がっている気もしますが（笑）。
演じる際には不自然になりすぎないように、ラフそしてナチュラルに感じてもらえるようにという事を意識しています。彼自身も言っているように台風みたいな人物で、周りをかき乱しそしてダル絡みすることも多いのでクドくなりすぎないように気をつけています。
僕は彼ほどカリスマ性はないのですが、反射神経で生きてそうな所や彼の考え方など共感できる所が演じていてすごく多いと思っています。それだけ田中隼人という人物が好きだという事ですね（笑）。
佐藤（拓）：いつもワケ知り顔で天城くんに寄り添う香取くん。ブレない、とり乱さないと心がけてますが、けっこうとり乱してますね。特典も聴いて下さいね。
子安：ザッキーはやっぱり「マイペース」ですね。付き合いが悪いわけではないですし、テンションが低いわけでもない、悪ノリはするけど穏やか……。その独特な雰囲気とふんわりした佇まいが彼の魅力だと思います!!
天城くんを可愛がっていますが、香取にだけは冷たい、そのギャップも素敵です。原作でもレアキャラなので、ドラマCD化にあたって、よりザッキーの事を知ってもらい、愛着を持っていただけるように収録に挑みました。
小林：瀬川は言葉が辛辣だったり冷たい対応をしたりと、良くない印象を持たれそうな行動を取ることもありますが、根本的には人間という生物を愛しているのではないかと考えています。
実は相手の深い部分まで理解していますし、人を嫌っていたり無関心な人物だったらあそこまで付き合いも良くないと思うんです。ですので、辛辣な物言いだとしても嫌味っぽくなり過ぎず、根っこの部分は愛があるニュアンスを紡げるよう意識して演じさせていただきました。
――ファンのみなさんへのメッセージをお願いいたします。
前田：今回こうしてドラマCDという形でまた作品に関わることができ、とても嬉しい気持ちでいっぱいです。本当にありがとうございます。
出逢ったばかりの2人のように、あの頃にしかないドキドキやトキメキを改めて楽しんでいただければ嬉しいです。『高良くんと天城くん』を引き続き応援のほどよろしくお願いいたします。
佐藤（元）：『高良くんと天城くん』がたくさんの方に愛していただけていることが幸せですし、長い期間天城くんを演じさせていただけてとても嬉しいです。これからも「あまりん可愛い」を多くの方に感じていただけるよう頑張りたいと思います。

僕もはなげのまい先生の描かれる世界観、キャラクター達の大ファンですのでドラマCD第2弾や、アニメ化などこの先展開されていかないかなーと期待しつつ皆様と一緒に彼らの物語を見届けていきたいと思います。そして、これからも愛を持って田中隼人と共に歩んでいけたらと思います。
