● “Special Effects”-style transformation
“Soy Latte” appears on a quarry-like hill, a staple of special effects shows. With a loud voice, it flies through the air and is enveloped in a dazzling flash of light as a new “Soy Latte” is born, covered in new coffee beans and soybeans.
●Magical Girl-style transformation
Soy Latte, wrapped in the sparkling feeling unique to magical girl anime, spins around, wearing a ribbon, and strikes a pose with the Mount Rainier logo shining. The new heroine Soy Latte appears!
● A pixelated
transformation of the old design of “Soy Latte” appears on a screen that looks like a role-playing game (RPG). A magic circle suddenly appears, and the drink undergoes an amazing transformation into the new packaging.
● “Fighting Battle” Style Transformation
“Soy Latte” emits a strong aura in the wilderness, foreshadowing the start of a fight. The earth cracks, dust rises, and the tremendous aura blows everything away, and a new package of “Soy Latte” appears!
Q: How was the recording?
Mitsuishi: I was excited to act in the scene where I drink the latte because of the enthusiasm of the “Mount Rainier” new “Soy Latte” and “Oat Latte”. I tried to act naturally, but before filming, I deliberately didn’t drink any water and made myself thirsty, so I was able to say the lines naturally!
Seki-san: We shot many variations of “Soy!”, so it was a pretty surreal recording (laughs). In the future, a version where I exchange lines with Mitsuishi-san will be released, and I’ve done my best to act out the drama behind “Soy Latte” and “Otsuratte,” so please look forward to it!
Q: Please tell us what the highlights of the commercial are and what lines you would like people to hear.
Mitsuishi: It’s the “Sooooooo!” transformation scene that’s reminiscent of a magical girl anime. I aimed to be a cool fighting heroine (laughs). The other transformation concepts are also solid, the aim is easy to understand, and I really enjoy speaking. I hope you’ll enjoy the “throwing lines” between Seki-kun and the other two in the footage that will be released in the future.
Seki-san: I like the scene where the “O” in “Soy Latte” spins around, and the spirited “Soy soy soy soy!” is used for the surreal part (laughs). If you listen to it a few times, you might find your favorite “Soy!”
Q: What do you think of the new Mount Rainier Soy Latte and Mount Rainier Oat Latte?
Mitsuishi-san: It was mellow and delicious! I love lattes, so I thought it was really good. It’s easy to drink, so I recommend it!
Seki-san: I had the lattes before the renewal and they were delicious, but I was surprised at how good the new soy latte and oat latte are!
