Unlike the performances held during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022, the venue was in a frenzy as it was allowed to sing out loud for the first time in a long time. After the performance, when the excitement was still high, decultural information was released!
FIRE BOMBER LIVE is scheduled to take place in February 2025! The cover art for the new song “BURN! BURN! BURN!”, illustrated by Haruhiko Mikimoto, has been released.
It has been decided that the FIRE BOMBER live concert “SANKYO presents MACROSS 7 30th Anniv. FIRE BOMBER LIVE 2025 ~BURN! BURN! BURN!~” will be held at Toyosu PIT (Tokyo) on Friday, February 21st and Saturday, February 22nd, 2025!
Of course, the performers will be Yoshiki Fukuyama (singer of Basara Nekki) and Chie Kajiura (singer of Mylene Flare Jenius). This will be the first time they perform on stage as FIRE BOMBER in six years since “MACROSS CROSSOVER LIVE 2019 at Makuhari Messe” in 2019, and their first solo live performance in about 13 years since “FIRE BOMBER 2012” in 2012.

In addition, when the recent announcement of this band’s first release in 12 years was made, the word “FIRE BOMBER” became a trending word on the social media site X, and the new song “BURN! BURN! BURN!” has been attracting a lot of attention. The cover design, track details, and enclosed bonus items have also been revealed for the new song.
The jacket was designed by Haruhiko Mikimoto, the original character designer for Macross 7. The jacket is a completely new illustration, with a striking gentle smile of Mylene looking towards us. In addition, the first production run will come with a special package design, with a case featuring Basara Nekki’s sunglasses on a clear red background. I’ve been singing FIRE BOMBER’s many songs in various venues for the past 30 years, but I took on the challenge of creating another signature song.
コロナの影響で、声が出せない時期のライブもありましたが、やっぱりFIRE BOMBERはみんなで歌わないとつまらない。
バサラは「俺の歌を聞け！」と言ってますが、バサラが一番うれしそうなのは、自分の歌を相手が歌ってくれる時なんだと思います。
僕もこの新曲を2月のライブでお客さんと一緒に歌うのが一番の楽しみです。
