The protagonist, Okino, is a seconded employee of Hato Kogyo, a pest control company that works hard every day to deal with giant unidentified creatures. He is a bit clumsy and sometimes rushes ahead without reading the situation and fails, but he also has a naturally positive attitude that allows him to face any difficulty, sincerely reflect on his own mistakes, and is a person who is genuinely kind, showing consideration and empathy for his colleagues who are on the verge of breaking down.
Chiba-san usually has the image of playing stoic and calm characters, but this passionate protagonist is unusual for him, and the way he plays the protagonist linked with his own lively personality in the reading play made me feel like he was being let loose, which was interesting and very appealing. 初めての主演アニメです。主人公の猪突猛進で諦めが悪くて、絶対に負けたくない!という強い感情を新人ながらも全力で演じてくれました。年下な生意気だけど先輩に可愛がられる祇園くんをやんちゃな高校生感を無くさずに、可愛さもいれて演じてくれました。
アニメ見ていると祇園くんの全力の姿、楽しそうにラグビーをやっている姿に感動だけではなく元気をもらえます。アニメでの熱演、そして全力を出し切る勢いでやったラジオパーソナリティの様子に、私は千葉翔也に堕ちました。
千葉翔也と出会わせてくれた作品です。全力を出し切る・ALLOUTの精神は今なお翔也くんの中にあるなと思います。声優としてアーティストとして挑戦をつづけています。（30代・女性）
