Advance scene cuts and a synopsis from episode 18, “The End of a Scary Dream,” have been released.
Shusui decides to face his grandmother Katsuyo again, who has forgotten about him due to her illness. Shusui regains his usual cheerfulness and heads to the facility where Katsuyo lives, but when they meet again for the first time in a long time, Katsuyo remains expressionless, as if pushing him away. Unable to accept this, Shusui breaks down in tears. Hayato stands in front of Katsuyo instead, and calls out to her in the same words as his grandfather Taiyo, who appeared to him in a dream the night before.
