Summer anime “Mahoaku” “The job of a magical girl is not as hard as I thought,” Byakuya says… Episode 2 previewThe synopsis and preview cuts for episode 2 of the summer anime series “A Long Time Ago, Magical Girls and Evil Were Enemies,” which will air on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, titled “The Mission to Defeat Magical Girls Is None Other Than Mine,” have been released.

“Once upon a time, magical girls and evil were enemies.” is based on a romantic love comedy by manga artist Fujiwara Cocoa, known for works such as “Inu x Boku SS” (Inu Boku Secret Service). It was serialized in the monthly “Gangan Joker” from 2013 to 2015, and was the last work written by Fujiwara Cocoa due to her sudden death. In November 2023, the 10th anniversary of the start of the original serialization, it was announced that the series will be adapted into a TV anime by Bones.

The main characters are Mira, an evil strategist who is trying to destroy the world, and Mimori Byakuya, a magical girl who fights to protect the world. However, Mira falls in love with Byakuya at first sight, and although they were supposed to be enemies, they end up falling in love…

Episode 2: “The mission to defeat magical girls is mine” Summary:

Tea parties in the park are becoming a daily routine for the two. Noticing that the sleeve of Mira’s coat is burnt, Byakuya adds an applique.

“The job of a magical girl isn’t as hard as I thought it would be. I’m sure it’s all thanks to the kind advisor…”

When Byakuya says this, Mira denies it, saying “I’m not kind”…

The second episode of “Once Upon a Time, Magical Girls and Evil Were Enemies,” titled “The Mission to Defeat Magical Girls Is None Other Than Mine,” will air on TOKYO MX and other stations from Tuesday, July 16th.
