The manga “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” by Koyoharu Gotouge has been published in 23 volumes, and the first TV anime, “Tanjiro Kamado: Unwavering Resolve Arc,” began airing in April 2019. Since then, it has been animated with “Infinity Train Arc,” “Entertainment District Arc,” and “Swordsmith Village Arc.” The “Hashira Training Arc,” which began airing on May 12, depicts the “Hashira Training” between the Demon Slayer Corps’ strongest swordsmen, the “Hashira,” and the Demon Slayer Corps members in preparation for the final battle with Muzan Kibutsuji.
The story is about a boy named Tanjiro Kamado, whose family was killed by demons, who joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his sister Nezuko, who has also become a demon, back into a human, and throws himself into fighting demons. Animation is produced by ufotable.
In the first episode, which was also a hot topic for its new episodes, pre- and post-covid illustrations were released. The battle between the Snake Pillar, Obanai Iguro, and the Wind Pillar, Sanemi Shinazugawa, was spectacular.
Starting with the second episode, in which the past of Giyu Tomioka was told, illustrations based on the theme of “pillars” were released. The scene in which Tanjiro stalks Giyu and tries to persuade him has been called “Psychopath Tanjiro.”
In the third episode, Tanjiro visits Tengen Uzui. The voices of the corps members who train with him as pillars are played by Takeo Otsuka, Kotaro Nishiyama, Takuma Terashima, and others, and fans on the internet were abuzz with comments such as “The voice actors for the mob corps members are too impressive.”
In the fourth episode, Tanjiro joins Muichiro Tokito’s training. Muichiro is strict with the other members of the corps, but the cuteness of the smile he gives Tanjiro is impressive.

In the sixth episode, Tanjiro and Zenitsu Agatsuma head to Himejima’s training ground. He reunites with Inosuke Hashibira and Murata, and endures waterfall training. In addition, it was announced that Ryusei Nakao will play the role of Genya Shinazugawa’s crow, making the crow cast even more impressive.
In the seventh episode, Himejima Gyomei’s past is revealed by touching Tanjiro’s honest feelings. It’s painful. And then there is the appearance of Kibutsuji Muzan…
The final episode of the “Hashira Training Arc”, episode 8, was extended to 60 minutes. Ubuyashiki Kagaya and Kibutsuji Muzan met face to face… “Ubuyashiki Bomber” became a trending topic on the Internet.
It was also announced that the “Mugenjo Arc” will be released as part of a trilogy of movies. As soon as the trailer was released on YouTube, it quickly exceeded 1 million views. Expectations for “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” will only continue to grow!
