“KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World!” is an alternate world comedy currently being published by Natsume Akatsuki in the “Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko” series. The story follows the protagonist Kazuma, who is reincarnated into another world along with the trouble-making goddess Aqua, and the magician Megumin and knight Darkness as they join his party on their journey.
To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the publication, a figure based on an original illustration by Kurone Mishima, the original illustrator, has been produced. The “Aqua Original 10th Anniversary Ver.” has been adorablely recreated with her dancer-like outfit decorated with lots of ornaments, her dynamic pose, wide eyes, and cute smile.
Even the water dancing around her is full of dynamism, befitting the goddess of water. The precise expression has been condensed into a figure of approximately 18cm.
The “Darkness Original 10th Anniversary ver.” beautifully depicts the ribbons and rose corsages that adorn her fluttering wedding dress, the intricate lace pattern, and the delicate tiara and veil. Her shy smile and the lightness of her feet peeking out from the hem of her dress are also eye-catching.
Additionally, the Kadokawa Store and Chara-ani.com are also accepting pre-orders for the “Kadokawa Special Set,” which includes a special rubber mat (approximately W600mm x H300mm) featuring the motif illustration. The regular version is priced at 9,900 yen each, while the special set is priced at 12,100 yen each (all prices include tax).
