The supplement is a limited character card from the “Detective Conan Trading Card Game (Detective Conan TCG)” featuring an original drawing of Kaitou Kid by the original author Gosho Aoyama from the movie “Detective Conan: The Million Dollar Five-Pointed Star.”

Detective Conan, the original manga series by Gosho Aoyama, is celebrating its 30th anniversary, with 105 volumes of comics and a total of 270 million copies in print worldwide. The TV anime series has also aired more than 1,100 times, and its popularity shows no signs of slowing down.

The 27th movie in the series, “Detective Conan: The Million Dollar Five-Point Star,” was released on April 12th and has continued to be a mega-hit, setting new milestones such as “the first anime series to surpass 10 billion yen in box office sales for two consecutive films” and “the series’ cumulative audience surpasses 100 million people.” It has just recently surpassed the 15 billion yen mark, with 10.52 million viewers and 15.05 billion yen in box office revenue in the 73 days since its release on June 23rd.

The August issue of “Shonen Sunday S” that went on sale this time is the third in a series of four consecutive issues with original line drawings by Aoyama on the cover, featuring Hattori Heiji and Toyama Kazuha from the series. The second in the series of cards that will be included as an attachment is the “Kaitou Kid – Aoyama Sensei Original Artwork ver. -” from the “Detective Conan TCG.”
