As part of the second collaboration project with illustrators, the Hello Kitty costume design drawn by the creative group CLAMP has been unveiled for the first time. An illustration of Sakura Kinomoto from Cardcaptor Sakura wearing a costume matching Hello Kitty was also unveiled.

“Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary” will be held for approximately one year from November 1st to December 31st, 2023 as an event to commemorate Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary. From May 1st, as the first collaboration project with an illustrator, a greeting project with Hello Kitty in a costume drawn in collaborative art with digital creator Tera Terada will begin. Content that will liven up the anniversary year is appearing one after another.

As the second part of this collaborative project, the Hello Kitty costume design drawn by the creative group CLAMP has been unveiled for the first time. The large-scale illustration depicts Hello Kitty flying through the sky holding a cane in the shape of Hello Kitty, with the rainbow that is the symbol of Puroland in the background.

Furthermore, to celebrate Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary, an illustration of Sakura Kinomoto from Cardcaptor Sakura wearing a matching costume was also drawn.
