In March 2024, prior to the TV broadcast, episodes 1 and 2 will be screened nationwide at theaters in seven cities across the country: Hokkaido, Sendai, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo. Greetings “I’m home” were held, and every venue was a success with tremendous lottery odds.
Here, we will report on the stage greeting held at Tokyo’s Grand Cinema Sunshine Ikebukuro as a finale.

At the event, we will first show advance screenings of episodes 1 and 2. Due to the movie theater environment, the somewhat solemn audience seats burst out into loud laughter as the story progressed, and the cast members took the stage in the most warm atmosphere.
Mr. Fukushima, who has appeared at all the greetings held all over the country, seems to be reluctant to leave. Still, in order to let the fans know that KonoSuba is back, when they loudly say “I’m home,” which is also the title of the event, a huge “welcome back” call erupts from the audience. The curtain rises for the stage greeting amidst excitement.
This event was held on March 31st, with 10 days left until the TV broadcast. Regarding his feelings as the third season was about to air, Fukushima said, “In the first and second seasons and the movie, I felt as much anxious, nervous, and responsible as I was happy, and honestly, I feel like I wasn’t happy, but I’ve waited seven years for the third season, and I’ve been able to receive feedback from everyone through advance screenings, so I’m just overjoyed.” reveals a strong feeling of pure joy.
Regarding the atmosphere at the post-recording site for the TV series, which will be the first in seven years since the second season, Amemiya says, “Everyone was dying to do KonoSuba as soon as possible.”
Among the cast members who appeared in the previous TV series, including Mr. Amemiya, there was a feeling that Konosuba'' was a work that would last forever, but Konosuba” that came after “The Movie Crimson Densetsu” It seems that there were quite a few cast members who felt lonely in Los Angeles, and many of them were rejoicing in the happiness of being able to dub KonoSuba again.
However, once the recording started, the atmosphere changed to a battle between the cast members who couldn’t lose, and Amemiya said, “In the first episode, I was also thinking about how to make Jun laugh.” He confessed that there was a part of the play that targeted Mr. Fukushima.
それを受けた福島さんも「普段は仲良くしておきながら、いざ始まったら、相手よりいい芝居してやろうとか、びっくりさせてやろうとか、いいコミュニケーションが取れているのが、芝居にも活きているなと思います」と、『このすば』ならではのアフレコ現場の雰囲気の良さについて分析します。
その上で、特に福島さんの印象に残っていた演技として挙げられたのが、3期の第1話で、めぐみんの爆裂魔法の後にアクアが咽び泣くシーン。アクアの泣きの演技については、2期でも福島さんに褒めてもらったことを雨宮さん自身覚えており、その時とはまた違う泣きを見せてやろうと、意気込んで演じていたことも明らかになります。
ただ、その演技を間近で見続けてきた福島さんは、今や雨宮さんの“泣き”が基準になってしまっており、他の現場で“泣き”の演技を見てもどこか物足りなく感じてしまい、雨宮さんの“泣き”じゃないと満足できなくなってきたのだとか。この役者としての最高の褒め言葉に、雨宮さんは大喜びしていました。
一方、3期で初めてアニメ『このすば』の収録現場を体験したという高尾さんは、「すごかったです！ 最初の収録の時、皆さんの笑いに対する真剣さに“これが『このすば』の現場なんだ”って圧倒されちゃって。でもそれがまたすごく居心地いいというか、楽しい空気感に変わっていって」と、収録を振り返ります。
そんな高尾さんが衝撃を受けたのが、Aパート・Bパート共に、一度もリテイクがなく、一発OKが出たという回。その上、どのキャストも堂々とアドリブを入れてくるのは衝撃的で、高尾さんが今まで一度も体験したことがないタイプの現場だったのだとか。
高尾さん自身はアドリブを入れる機会はあまりなかったものの、アイリスを演じるにあたって監督から「もっと可愛くやってください」というディレクションを何度も受けていたそう。
現場で実際にその様子を見ていたという雨宮さんは「（ディレクションが入る前から）もうすごい可愛いなって、キャストは皆思ってたんですよ。でもリテイクが何回も出ていて、監督の可愛いはどこにあるんだ！って（笑）」と戸惑っていたという、制作陣のアイリスの可愛さに対する強いこだわりを感じさせるエピソードも明かされます。
またトーク内では、これまで普段のアクアを意識した髪型と衣装で登壇してきた雨宮さんが初めて、1期の第1話を彷彿とさせる作業着風衣装で登壇したことも話題に。作業着風をチョイスしたのには、3月24日に行われた「AnimeJapan 2024」のステージをはじめ、これまでずっときれい系の衣装で登壇してきたこともあり、思い切った衣装のチョイスをしたのだとか。
そんな雨宮さんを見て、今回イベントTシャツのみで登壇していた福島さんは、「（カズマの）ジャージも持って来れば良かった！」と悔しさをにじませる場面も。同時に、いつか福島さんも一緒に作業着でイベントに登壇し、工事現場でアルバイトしていた頃のカズマとアクアの姿を再現したいという話題で盛り上がっていました。
