To commemorate the 85th anniversary of Batman’s first appearance in comics published on March 30, 1939, we will join fans in preparation for “Batman Day” on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Various plans and promotions will be held to celebrate the anniversary year.

The commemorative key visual for Batman’s 85th anniversary has been unveiled.

In addition, the DC booth will appear at Osaka Comic Convention 2024, one of the world’s largest pop culture events, which will be held for three days from May 3rd (Friday/Holiday) to May 5th (Sunday/Holiday), 2024. We plan to have a wide range of items centered around Batman-related characters, and pre-sale items from Osaka Comic Con by men’s fashion brand “BLANK NAME” will also appear.

In addition, “LEGO® DC Batman: Animated Series Gotham City” is newly released. Lemino has decided to distribute four Batman works, Cartoon Network will broadcast a Batman animated series, and Movie-Plus will broadcast Batman-related movies.

Shogakukan Shueisha Productions will be promoting Batman’s 85th anniversary from all angles, including a “gift campaign for all DC Comics applicants,” and DC’s official SNS will be running a “commemorative campaign.” Various other projects are also planned. Please look forward to future updates.

The titles to be distributed are Tim Burton’s Batman'' and Batman Returns,” as well as Joel Schumacher’s Batman Forever'' and Batman & Robin: Mr. Freeze Strikes Back.”
