The seventh season of the TV anime will finally reach its final episode tomorrow, October 12th (Saturday)! The final episode, Episode 21 (No. 159), “Battle Without Quirks” will be aired.
And now, a special music video for “Curtain Call,” the opening theme for the second cour of the seventh season of the TV anime “My Hero Academia,” sung by Yuri, has been released!
The opening theme for the second cour of the seventh season of My Hero Academia, “Curtain Call,” is a newly written song by singer-songwriter Yuri, whose hit song “Dry Flowers” has been streamed over 1 billion times in total.
Yuri says of this song, “It’s about heroes and villains, whose respective problems and answers clash, but who started out with the same emotions but chose different paths, and the hope that in different worlds they might be able to understand each other.” This song has added excitement to the intense battles and drama of My Hero Academia’s seventh season every week.
This special “My Hero Academia” anime MV is made up of the full audio of “Curtain Call” and footage from the anime series’ 7th season, and features a dizzying array of memorable scenes, including the characters’ battles in season 7 and revealing their inner selves.
Furthermore, CG and graphic lyrics are incorporated into the production, making it a must-see for fans.

The comic series has sold over 85 million copies worldwide! The TV anime “My Hero Academia” is based on the hugely popular comic by Kohei Horikoshi, which is currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (published by Shueisha).
The story takes place in a world where about 80% of the population has some kind of supernatural ability, a “quirk.” The story follows the growth, battles, and friendships of high school student Izuku Midoriya “Deku,” who attends U.A. High School, and his classmates, as they aim to become heroes, a profession that protects people and society from accidents, disasters, and criminals and enemies who abuse their “quirks”!
