“Nelfes” is a one-night-only event that brings together various titles produced and created by Nelke Planning.
This will be the third time the event has been held in 10 years since the first in 2008 and the second in 2014, and is a huge thanksgiving event brought to you by Nelke Planning to express our gratitude to everyone who has always supported us.
“Nelfes 2024” got off to a rocking start with the shouts of “THE Theme song,” written specifically for the occasion, ringing out throughout the venue.
First, a list of the titles of the plays that Nelke Planning has produced over the past 30 years is displayed on the screen, along with a number of impressive stage photos. I wanted to pause and take my time to reminisce about my memories of the plays, but there was no time for that.
After watching the raging time tunnel, Kawamoto Sei, today’s host, appeared. Kawamoto, who has deep ties to Nelke Planning and is known for his talk, introduced…CEO Nogami Shoko and Sakataru! She gave the opening speech in a stylish yukata robes, perfectly suited to the festival theme of the day, and opened the sake barrel to the cheers of the audience. It was a lively and auspicious start.
The first act was the musical “The New Prince of Tennis .” It is a representative work of Nelke Planning and can be said to be one of the driving forces behind the 30th anniversary. The moment the image introducing the work was shown on the screen, the entire audience stood up!
The Budokan was already filled with the live concert venue after the surprise selection of songs, which included “Over the Sea” by the Japanese cast, “I’m Back” which included a shot of Echizen Ryoma (Imamachi Teru) and his brother Ryoga (Izawa Yuki), and “Atobe Kingdom” by Atobe Keigo (Takahashi Reiya), who heated up the venue even more with his message of love to his fans.
The performance, joined by the German cast, featured songs from the currently running musical “The New Prince of Tennis: The Fourth Stage.”
The perfection of the company as a pioneer of 2.5-dimensional musicals and the passion of the “TeniMyu Series” permeated every corner.
Next up were the members of the play “The Wizard’s Promise .” MahoStation is also a popular play that is currently running as a series.
Here, you will be guided smoothly into the world of the work by Akira Maki/Sage (Natsuki Omori), and spend your time surrounded by a soft atmosphere. The singing voices of the 10 wizards gathered from each of the <Central Country>, <Northern Country>, <Eastern Country>, <Western Country>, and <Southern Country> are strong and mysterious, and the gentle melodies and harmonies of each number, such as “Etude of Memories,” “The Gathering,” and “The Signal of the Beginning,” are pleasant to the ears.
The third act was Kobe Sailor Boys , who were connected to the Hyogo venue via live broadcast . As their name suggests, they are a Kobe-based acting group made up entirely of teenagers.
There are 10 members. During the self-introduction call, which included their selling points, the audience cheered, “(Their acrobatics) are amazing!” and “They’re so cute!” The performance consisted of original numbers “Kizuna = Tsunagu” and “Bokura Color.” Waving their penlights, they turned to the Budokan audience, who were watching the live broadcast, and appealed with big smiles, “Please come and see us!”
Appearing as if cutting through the refreshing breeze created by Kobe Cerab were Azazel (Masaya Onosaka), Beelzebub (Ryutaro Okiayu), and Sakuma Rinko (Sato Yuria) from the play “I’m Calling You, Azazel-san,” which has been described as “a legendary stage play known only to those in the know.”
In order to bring out the best in the characters, the actors perform the piece while also using puppets, and the number “Hateful Times” clearly conveys the distinctive character of the work, sending a message to an age trapped by compliance.
Still feeling these new emotions, the next thing the audience saw was the Miracle☆Stage performance of “Sanrio Boys,” which was a complete change of atmosphere and enveloped them in a cute world .
They are high school boys who love the Sanrio characters that everyone loves. The members for this event were four members of the Kanto Sanrio Boys, two members of the Kansai Sanrio Boys, and a special guest, Hello Kitty! The Sanrio boys, dressed in elegant white tuxedos, gracefully escorted the all-dressed up Hello Kitty, looking just like a prince and princess. They conveyed their feelings of “I like what I like” while weaving in their feelings for their favorite characters in the two songs “Kirakira” and “Can you fall in love?”.
“Shoujo☆Kageki Revue Starlight,” which features an all-female cast, is a series that has expanded into a wide range of genres, including stage plays, anime, and games, and is popular with both men and women.
Following “Star Divine” by eight members of the Starlight Kuku Gumi and “BLUE ANTHEM” by three members of the Seiran Comprehensive Arts Academy, the all-cast performed “Discovery!”, which, combined with the appeal of the catchy tune, got the audience excited by the excitement of the “stage girls” on the center stage. There were also loud voices of support for the announcement of the next performance by Aijo Karen (Koyama Momoyo) and Yanagi Koharu (Nanagi Kanade).
Information was then lifted for the second half of the festival. First, a promotional video for the musical “The King of Beasts,” which was announced the other day, was shown, and every time new information about the cast was revealed, the audience erupted in surprised cheers.
３月に上演されることも発表され、改めて川本に呼び込まれたレオンハート役の加藤大悟、アヌビス役の福井巴也、ラントベルト役の今牧輝琉、フェンリル役の白柏寿大、セト役の矢田悠祐が新作参加への抱負を語った。これもまたネルケプランニングの次の10年に向けての新たな一歩である。
続いて舞台「パタリロ！」よりパタリロ・ド・マリネール8世（加藤 諒）と運転手（小林顕作）が「箸休めで来ております〜」と自虐ギャグを交えながらご陽気にステージ上へ。
パタリロ殿下の号令でみんな大好き「クックロビン音頭」を嗜んだのち、これも今回のために書き下ろされた「ネルケ音頭」タイム突入で、ここまで出演してきたキャスト陣も再び舞台上へ。
法被を着たネルケプランニング社員も客席通路に出てみんな一緒に楽しく盆踊り。音頭で一体になれるのは素敵な日本の文化、笑顔で体を動かしほのぼの空気を共有した。
ほのぼの続き、夏休み！オン・ステージ「パペットミュージカル すみっコぐらし とびだす絵本とひみつのコ」へ。ネルケプランニングのWELCOME KIDS PROJECT の１つで、あのすみっコぐらしがミュージカルになったのだ。
川島夕空、新津ちせ、石田 隼と、人形劇団ひとみ座を含むパフォーマーたちが操演するしろくま、ぺんぎん？、とんかつ…といった12種のキャラクターの登場、ほっこりした気持ちが止まらない。
「すみっコたちのうたエンディングVer.」を披露するもセンターステージでもメインステージでも定位置＝すみっこにわちゃわちゃと積み重なる様子に「本物だ！」と感動。
近日上演作からはミュージカル「七色いんこ」が登場。
絶賛稽古中のカンパニーを代表し、七色いんこ（七海ひろき）＆千里万里子（有沙 瞳）がダンサーを従えて劇中ナンバー「To be,or not to be.」を披露。個性的なサングラスに赤い衣裳のいんこがひとたび歌い出すと、思わず場内からカッコいいものをひたすら見つめるときのため息が。衣裳に合わせてチョイスされたペンライトの赤い波が揺れていたのも美しかった。
そしてここからはラストスパート！ 川本が「クライマックス、怒涛のタイトルが続きます！」ともう一段階客席を盛り上げ…『ヒプノシスマイク -Division Rap Battle-』Rule the Stageのサウンドが武道館を征服する！
「The Tribe of BATTLE EMCEEZ」イケブクロ・ディビジョン“Buster Bros!!!”、ヨコハマ・ディビジョン“MAD TRIGGER CREW”、シブヤ・ディビジョン“Fling Posse”、シンジュク・ディビジョン“麻天狼”、オオサカ・ディビジョン“どついたれ本舗”、ナゴヤ・ディビジョン“Bad Ass Temple”、ディビジョン・ダンス・バトル“D.D.B”の競演で力強いパフォーマンスを披露。
ラップによる闘いを体現するキャラクター26名の激しい熱量と、ここまで待ち続けていたファンの熱量がぶつかり合う瞬間を目撃した。
「兄さ〜んっ!!!」の絶叫でミュージカル『青春-AOHARU-鉄道』パートに客席を導いたのは東海道本線（鯨井康介）。
その兄である東海道新幹線（永山たかし）、西武池袋線（KIMERU）、高崎線（郷本直也）などが登場し、各路線をつなぐ「つながる青春ネルフェス2024ver.」で鉄ミュの魅力を強烈にアピール（さまざまな色のペンライトの点滅がまるで路線図のように！）。西武の狂気の叫び「会長万歳――！」もお約束。実はネルケ作品には欠かせないレジェンドたちが集う本シリーズ、貫禄を感じさせるパフォーマンスに「これがあの鉄ミュか！」と心動かされた人々も多かったようだ。
さらにたたみかけるようにMANKAI STAGE『A3!』が、元気一杯に弾ける！
この季節にぴったりの＜夏組＞皇 天馬（陳内 将）、瑠璃川 幸（宮崎 湧）、向坂 椋（野口 準）、 斑鳩三角（本田礼生）、三好一成（赤澤 燈）、兵頭九門（新 正俊）が、限界まで“テンアゲ”のパーティーチューン「Hi High Summer」〜「オレサマ☆夏summer」で客席を盛り上げる！
続いて原作テーマソングの「MANKAI☆開花宣言」〜「blooming smile」と同作に欠かせないテーマソングでエーステ全ての組の思いも繋ぐ。ライブ経験豊富なメンバー、ほんのり笑いも入れつつ客席をしっかり巻き込んで、突風のように駆け抜けていった。
ラストはミュージカル『刀剣乱舞』。2.5次元ミュージカルを大きく飛躍させるきっかけとなったシリーズだ。
「すていじ・おうぷんだ！」の声で始まったのは、篭手切江（田村升吾）、桑名江（福井巴也）、松井江（笹森裕貴）、豊前江（立花裕大）、五月雨江（山﨑晶吾）、村雲江（永田聖一朗）による「STARTING NOW」。
客席の熱気も最高潮の中、大倶利伽羅（牧島 輝）＆鶴丸国永（岡宮来夢）「DARA DARA DANCE」へと続き、最後は和泉守兼定（有澤樟太郎）、堀川国広（阪本奨悟）、山姥切国広（加藤大悟）が現在上演中のミュージカル『刀剣乱舞』 和泉守兼定 堀川国広 山姥切国広 参騎出陣 〜八百八町膝栗毛〜から、公演以外では初公開となるライブナンバーを披露。
ライブver.の衣裳を纏った刀剣男士たちがステージ上に揃う様子も華やかで、約2時間半のフェス締めくくりをしっかりと務めた。
熱気の中、「皆様、楽しんでいただけましたか？」と、川本がステージへ。ネルケプランニング公式キャラクターのネルとルケの声を担当したニーコと寺崎裕香も袖から登場し、楽しかった時間を振り返ってご挨拶。今、ここにいるみんなが共有しているのは、名残惜しい気持ちとやり切った気持ちが混じり合う特別な達成感だろう。その気持ちを受け止めるように再び全登場キャストおよび野上社長が登場。いよいよ閉会だ。
まずは「私たちはお客様にすごく支えられていると強く感じることができました。改めてありがとうを伝えましょう」と野上社長の声掛けでステージ上から客席へ向けて拍手が送られ、さらに「30年は確かに長い歴史ですが、まだまだ誰かの幸せに寄り添えると思って日々精進していこうと思います。なぜなら皆様の笑顔が我々を支えてくれているから。今の世の中は好きなものを好きと大きな声で言っていい世の中です。だから私たちは頑張り続けたいと思います。これからもネルケプランニングをよろしくお願いいたします」と締めの挨拶。
最後はさらに10年後の再会を約束し三本締めできっちりと決めたのち、盛大な銀テープ砲で幕を閉じた。
